Luca Maffei and Antoine Lie have reconstructed the odorous sensations of a Sunday morning, when the first rays of the sun slip through the buildings in via Solferino with the perfumed lightness of the spring wind.
This is given by the mineral accord that opens the heart notes to the aromatic freshness of maté and yuzu, an Asian variety of citrus fruit. In the heart there is an unexpected symphony of floral notes – peony petals, magnolia and osmanthus – on a base of red ginger.
The base brings the green delicacy of heliotrope into the decisive sensuality of patchouli, tempered by the reassuring touch of suede accords.
“In the peach-pink jus of the fragrance it seems to smell the green notes of the nearby Sempione park, the flowery ones of the banquets in Largo Treves and Piazza San Marco and a certain watery something.”
