We are happy to have taken part as a host company in the initiative organized by Accademia del Profumo in the context of the Giorgia Martone Scholarship, an eclectic entrepreneur in the world of perfumery, who passed away prematurely in January 2021.
The establishment of this recognition is intended to be a way not only to remember, but also to keep the creative spirit of Giorgia Martone alive, passing on to new young talents the knowledge and arts of which she was a passionate researcher.
Anna Pezzoli spent a period at AFM working closely with our team.
Her experience focused on the activities of the Marketing & Evaluation sector, which works in close contact with the creator noses, from receiving the brief to presenting the fragrance.
“Since I took my first steps in the perfumery sector, the role of the evaluator has always fascinated me and thanks to Micaela Giamberti, Beatrice Dorizza and Martina Maffei I was able to discover all the facets that make up this precious figure.
The process that goes from receiving the brief to presenting the fragrance is full of many steps: the M&E team must do market research, work side by side with the noses, evaluate and select new olfactory proposals, prepare pyramids and poetic descriptions, build presentations marketing using the right words and the right images.
I was involved in all these activities and it was an incredible journey of growth and comparison with great professionals. I sincerely thank Luca Maffei, Marco Maffei, Micaela Giamberti, Paolo Cerizza, Beatrice Dorizza, Martina Maffei and the entire AFM Team for welcoming me into their beautiful reality, making me feel part of the team from day one.”
